Abstract

PROGRAM STUDI ILMU KOM UNIKASI Skripsi, Mei 2024 FAUZI YUSSATO ANALISIS FRAMING BERITA PENDAFTARAN CAPRES-CAWAPRES PEMILU 2024 PADA BREAKING NEWS METROTV ABSTRAK Pada saat pemilihan umum, televisi menjadi sarana yang penting bagi partai politik dan kandidat untuk menyampaikan pesan politik kepada masyarakat. Televisi juga menjadi sarana bagi masyarakat untuk mendapatkan informasi tentang berbagai calon yang akan dipilih. Fungsi media itu adalah memberikan informasi yang transparan dan tidak memihak. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui framing media MetroTv terhadap terhadap berita tentang pendaftaran capres-cawapres pada pemilu 2024 di program breaking news metrotv. Untuk mengetahui perbedaan framing media metrotv tentang berita proses pendaftaran capres-cawapres 2024. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis framing Zhondang Pan dan Gerald M.Kosicki, yang terdiri struktur, diantaranya yang pertama struktur sintaksis, skrip, tematik, dan retoris. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan, bahwa pada saat pendaftaran calon pasangan Anies-muhaimin disiarkan dari rumah masing-masing lalu ke kantor pusat partai pengususngnya hingga ke KPU dengan durasi 8 jam. Ketika pasangan Ganjar-Mahfud melakukan pendaftran ke KPU yang disiarakan oleh Breaking News MetroTv dimulai dari Tugu Proklamasi hingga ke KPU dengan durasi 2 jam 20 menit. Ketika pasanagan Prabowo-Gibran melakukan pendaftaran yang dimulai dari GBK, Senayan hingga ke KPU dengan durasi 3 jam 26 menit. Dari ketiga Breaking News MetroTv yang disiarkan ada satu pasangan yang di framing yaitu pasangan Anies-Muhaimin dengan siaran yang lebih lengkap, lebih istimewa dari pasangan lainnya. Television is also a means for the public to get information about the various candidates who will be elected. The function of the media is to provide transparent and impartial information. The purpose of this study is to find out the framing of MetroTv media towards news about the registration of presidential and vice presidential candidates in the 2024 election in the MetRotv breaking news program. To find out the difference in the framing of metrotv media about the news of the 2024 presidential and vice presidential candidate registration process. This study uses a qualitative approach with the framing analysis method of Zhondang Pan and Gerald M. Kosicki, which consists of structures, including the first syntactic, script, thematic, and rhetorical structures. The results of this study show that at the time of registration of the candidate for the Anies-Muhaimin pair, it was broadcast from their respective homes and then to the headquarters of the supporting party to the KPU with a duration of 8 hours. When the Ganjar-Mahfud couple registered to the KPU which was broadcast by Breaking News MetroTv starting from the Proclamation Monument to the KPU with a duration of 2 hours and 20 minutes. When the Prabowo-Gibran team carried out registration starting from GBK, Senayan to the KPU with a duration of 3 hours and 26 minutes. Of the three Breaking News MetroTv broadcasts, there is one couple that is framed, namely the Anies-Muhaimin couple with a more complete broadcast, more special than the other couples.
