Abstract

FAKULTAS ILMU SOSIAL DAN ILMU POLITIK PROGRAM STUDI ILMU KOMUNIKASI KONSENTRASI ADVERTISING Skripsi, Agustus 2024 Muhammad Reyhan Fadillah 2017140203 ANALISIS DESAIN KOMUNIKASI VISUAL KARTU MULTI TRIP EDISI GAYA GENERASI URBAN UNTUK MEMPERTAHANKAN BRAND IMAGE KAI COMMUTER LINE (72 Halaman + 5 Tabel + 18 Gambar + 10 Lampiran) ABSTRAK Mempertahankan Brand Image adalah hal yang penting bagi perusahaan. Sama halnya dengan KAI Commuter Line yang melakukan inovasi pada desain produk kartu Multi Trip. Teori yang digunakan adalah teori desain komunikasi visual gestalt. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui desain komunikasi visual dari kartu Multi Trip edisi gaya generasi urban dan upaya KAI Commuter Line dalam mempertahankan Brand Image melalui desain kartu Multi Trip. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah studi pustaka dan wawancara. Analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode Miles and Huberman, yang melibatkan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini adalah kurang maksimalnya penyajian desain komunikasi visual dari kartu Multi Trip edisi gaya generasi urban karena elemen visual terlalu menumpuk, namun pesan dalam desain dapat tersampaikan dengan cukup baik dan menggambarkan Brand Image dari KAI Commuter Line. Upaya KAI Commuter Line dalam mempertahankan Brand Image melalui kartu Multi Trip edisi gaya generasi urban cukup baik. Likewise, KAI Commuter Line has innovated its multi-trip card product design. The theory used is gestalt visual communication design theory. This research is a qualitative study which aims to determine the visual communication design of the urban generation style edition of the Multi Trip card and KAI Commuter Line's efforts to maintain its Brand Image through Multi Trip card design. The method used in this research is a qualitative method. The data collection techniques used were literature study and interviews. Data analysis in this research uses the Miles and Huberman method, which involves data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research are that the presentation of the visual communication design of the urban generation style edition of the Multi Trip card is not optimal because the visual elements are too piled up, however the message in the design can be conveyed quite well and depicts the Brand Image of the KAI Commuter Line. KAI Commuter Line's efforts to maintain its Brand Image through the urban generation style multi- trip card edition are quite good.
