UNIVERSITAS MUHAMMADIYAH JAKARTA FAKULTAS ILMU SOSIAL DAN ILMU POLITIK PROGRAM STUDI ILMU KOMUNIKASI KONSENTRASI BROADCASTING Skripsi, Juli 2023 Muhammad Rafi Atha Dhiya 2019140078 Analisis Pesan Moral Dalam Film “Cinta Subuh’’ Di TV Berlangganan Disney+ Hotstar (Analisis Semiotika Roland Barthes) ABSTRAK Pesan moral sendiri memuat pandangan tentang nilai dan norma yang terdapat diantara sekelompok manusia. Nilai moral suatu kebaikan manusia sebagai manusia. Norma tentang bagaimana manusia harus hidup supaya menjadi baik sebagai manusia. Film tidak hanya menjadi hiburan semata, namun sebagai media informasi dan edukasi, penyampaian informasi melalui film dapat dilakukan dengan cepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pesan moral yang terkandung dalam film cinta subuh. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori analisis semiotika Roland Barthes yaitu makna denotasi, makna konotasi, dan mitos yang terdapat pada film cinta subuh. Lokasi penelitian dilaksanakan di platform digital televisi berlangganan yaitu Disney+ Hotstar. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif yaitu prosedur penelitian yang menghasilkan data deskriptif berupa kata-kata tertulis atau lisan dari orang-orang dan perilaku yang dapat diambil. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat beberapa pesan moral yaitu: anjuran untuk tidak berpacaran, berbohong itu dosa walaupun demi kebaikan, utamakan shalat subuh sebagai cerminan hidup dan sosok persahabatan mendukung jalan yang baik. Dalam konteks ini, ada kesimpulan pada film ini yaitu menekankan pentingnya kejujuran dalam hubungan cinta. Kejujuran adalah nilai yang universal diakui dalam banyak budaya dan keyakinan. Makna denotasi dari film ini adalah kisah kejujuran dan kerja keras dari Angga yang berusaha merubah dirinya menjadi lebih baik demi mendapatkan Ratih. Makna konotasi dari film ini adalah konsep, ekspresi, dan kedekatan mental dari kisah pengorbanan ini dari kisah angga yang berusaha mendapatkan hati Ratih. Mitos dari film ini mengenai makna tentang pengorbanan dan pemahaman dalam hubungan cinta yang dihadirkan dalam film ini juga terkait dengan nilai-nilai empati dan pengertian. The moral value of a human goodness as a human being. Norms about how humans should live in order to be good as human beings. Film is not only an entertainment, but as a medium of information and education, the delivery of information through films can be done quickly. This study aims to determine the moral message contained in the dawn love film. This research uses Roland Barthes' semiotic analysis theory, namely the meaning of denotation, the meaning of connotation, and myth contained in the dawn love film. The location of the research was carried out okn the digital subscription television platform, Disney+ Hotstar. This research method uses qualitative methods, namely research procedures that produce descriptive data in the form of written or spoken words of people and behavior that can be taken. The results of this study show that there are several moral messages, namely: encouragement not to date, lying sins even for good, prioritizing morning prayers as a reflection of life and the figure of friendship supporting a good path. In this context, there is a conclusion in this film that emphasizes the importance of honesty in love relationships. Honesty is a universally recognized value in many cultures and beliefs. The denotational meaning of this film is the story of honesty and hard work from Angga who tries to change himself for the better in order to get Ratih. The connotation meaning of this film is the concept, expression, and mental closeness of this sacrificial story from the story of Angga who tried to get Ratih's heart. The myth of this film about the meaning of sacrifice and understanding in love relationships presented in this film is also related to the values of empathy and understanding.
