UNIVERSITAS MUHAMMADIYAH JAKARTA FAKULTAS ILMU SOSIAL DAN POLITIK PROGRAM STUDI ILMU KOMUNIKASI KONSENTRASI PUBLIC RELATIONS Skripsi, Januari 2023 Vina Nazelina 2018140012 Peran Public Relations PT Mandiri Utama Finance cabang Ciputat Dalam Mempertahankan Citra Perusahaan (Studi kasus Deskriptif Kualitatif PT Mandiri Utama Finance cabang Ciputat Tangerang Selatan) ABSTRAK Peran Public Relations PT Mandiri Utama Finance cabang Ciputat Dalam Mempertahankan Citra Perusahaan,Tujuan penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui bagaimana:1. Peran public relations PT Mandiri Utama Finance cabang Ciputat Tangerang Selatan Dalam Mempertahankan Citra Perusahaan, 2. Citra public relations PT Mandiri Utama Finance cabang Ciputat Tangerang Selatan . Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif yang menyajikan hasil penelitian dalam bentuk narasi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara dan studi kepustakaan. Hasil penelitian ini dapat diketahui bahwa peran public relations Dalam Mempertahankan Citra Perusahaan sebagai penasihat ahli yaitu decision maker terhadap kegiatan yang dilakukan PT Mandiri Utama Finance cabang Ciputat, kemudian memberikan solusi dan menjadi penengah ketika terdapat beragam pandangan.Fasilitator komunikasi yaitu menjalin dan menjaga hubungan yang baik dengan berbagai pihak mulai dari komunitas serta dealer-dealer. Fasilitator proses pemecah masalah yakni, mengatasi masalah yang terjadi, mencari solusi, dan melakukan upaya pencegahan agar masalah tidak terulang kembali. Sedangkan sebagai Teknisi Komunikasi yaitu mengeksekusi kegiatan public relations. Faktor yang menjadi pendukung ialah adanya komunitas SMAC (Showroom Mandiri Utama Community) menunjang disetiap kegiatan dan memudahkan public relations menangani complain dari nasabah.Hasil Penelitian ini adalah public relations berperan penting bagi PT Mandiri Utama Finance cabang Ciputat . Akan tetapi dalam pelaksana teknis, peran public relations masih sering terjadi nya masalah komunikasi yaitu miss communications antara pihak internal perusahaan maupun pihak eksternal perusahaan. Citra yang dimiliki perusahaan PT Mandiri Utama Finance cabang ciputat cukup baik,dibuktikan dengan banyak nya minat terkait pelayanan dan jasa yang diberikan perusahaan kepada konsumen untuk melakukan transaksi pembiayaan multiguna di perusahaan ini. The role of public relations PT Mandiri Utama Finance branch Ciputat South Tangerang in maintaining corporate image, 2. Image public relations PT Mandiri Utama Finance branch Ciputat South Tangerang. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method that presents research results in narrative form. Data collection techniques using interviews and literature study. The results of this study can be seen that the role of public relations in maintaining corporate image is as an expert adviser, namely the decision maker for activities carried out by PT Mandiri Utama Finance, Ciputat branch, then providing solutions and acting as a mediator when there are various views. Communication facilitators, namely establishing and maintaining good relationships with various parties starting from the community and dealers. Facilitator of the problem solving process, that is, overcoming problems that occur, finding solutions, and taking preventive measures so that problems do not recur. Meanwhile, as a Communications Technician, namely executing public relations activities. The supporting factor is the SMAC community (Showroom Mandiri Utama Community) which supports every activity and facilitates public relations in handling complaints from customers. The results of this study show that public relations plays an important role for PT Mandiri Utama Finance, Ciputat branch. However, in technical implementation, the role of public relations still often occurs due to communication problems, namely miss communications between internal companies and external parties. The image of the company PT Mandiri Utama Finance, Ciputat branch, is quite good, as evidenced by the great interest in the services provided by the company to consumers to carry out multipurpose financing transactions at this company.
