Abstract

FAKULTAS ILMU SOSIAL DAN ILMU POLITIK PROGRAM STUDI KESEJAHTERAAN SOSIAL Skripsi, 2 Mei 2024 Ayu Kusumaning Dewi Analisis Pelayanan Sosial Bidang Pendidikan Inklusi (Studi Kasus Program Pendidikan Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus di SLB Yayasan Tabungan Surga Bogor) ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali pelayanan sosial bidang pendidikan inklusi untuk anak berkebutuhan khusus di Sekolah Luar Biasa (SLB) Yayasan Tabungan Surga (YTBS). Pendekatan kualitatif digunakan dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelayanan pendidikan inklusi di SLB YTBS didasarkan pada kolaborasi intensif antara berbagai pihak, termasuk kepala sekolah, pendidik, guru pendamping, terapis, dan shadow teacher. Berbagai jenis layanan pendidikan inklusi dilakukan di SLB YTBS ini diantaranya adalah layanan akademis, layanan terapi, pendampingan, asrama dan asesmen terhadap ABK. Berbagai pihak berkolaborasi dalam mengentaskan permasalahan pendidikan ABK. Melalui forum Focus Group Discussion (FGD) yang rutin diadakan, pandangan diselaraskan, visi dan misi pendidikan diperkuat, serta pendekatan yang ramah bagi semua peserta didik dipastikan. Selain itu, faktor pendukung utama lainnya adalah ketersediaan fasilitas dan infrastruktur yang mendukung, seperti meja, kursi, alat peraga, dan permainan yang mendukung pembelajaran. Adanya kurikulum yang dapat disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan individu juga menjadi faktor pendukung penting. Namun demikian, terdapat beberapa faktor penghambat dalam pelayanan pendidikan inklusi di SLB YTBS. Salah satunya adalah pengelolaan keuangan yang kompleks, karena program pendidikan inklusi membutuhkan biaya yang relatif besar. Meskipun mendapatkan bantuan dari berbagai pihak, arus kas yang tidak selalu lancar seringkali menjadi masalah. Keterbatasan sumber daya pendidik juga menjadi hambatan, karena pendidikan inklusi membutuhkan tenaga pengajar, terapis, dan pendamping yang memiliki keterampilan khusus. Keterbatasan media pembelajaran juga menjadi hambatan, karena peserta didik dengan kebutuhan khusus memerlukan media pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan karakteristik mereka. FACULTY OF SOCIAL SCIENCES AND POLITICAL SCIENCES SOCIAL WELFARE STUDY PROGRAM Thesis, May 2, 2024 Ayu Kusumaning Dewi Analysis of Social Services in the Field of Inclusive Education (A Case Study of Special Needs Education Program at the Special School Foundation Tabungan Surga Bogor) ABSTRACT This research aims to explore social services in the field of inclusive education for children with special needs at the Special School (SLB) Tabungan Surga Foundation (YTBS). A qualitative approach was used with data collection techniques through interviews. The results show that inclusive education services at SLB YTBS are based on intensive collaboration among various parties, including the school principal, educators, assistant teachers, therapists, and shadow teachers. Various types of inclusive education services are provided at SLB YTBS including academic services, therapy services, mentoring, dormitory facilities, and assessments for students with special needs. Various parties collaborate to address the issues of special needs education. Through regular Focus Group Discussion (FGD) forums, perspectives are aligned, educational visions and missions are strengthened, and a friendly approach for all students is ensured. Additionally, the main supporting factor is the availability of facilities and infrastructure such as desks, chairs, teaching aids, and supportive learning games. A curriculum that can be tailored to individual needs is also a key supporting factor. However, there are several hindering factors in the provision of inclusive education services at SLB YTBS. One of them is complex financial management, as inclusive education programs require relatively large expenses. Although receiving assistance from various parties, inconsistent cash flow often becomes a problem. Limited educator resources are also a barrier, as inclusive education requires teachers, therapists, and mentors with specialized skills. Limited learning media also pose a challenge, as students with special needs require learning media that suit their characteristics.
