Abstract

ABSTRAK Nama : Salma Laila Qodriyah NPM : 20200120300008 Judul : Implementasi Manajemen Redaksi Media Online Gontornews.com Pembimbing : Dr. Fal. Harmonis, M.Si Ringkasan Pesantren merupakan institusi pendidikan keagamaan tertua di Indonesia. Belakangan ini perkembangan media online semakin pesat dalam beberapa tahun. Hal tersebut disebabkan oleh beberapa hal diantaranya yakni kemudahan dalam mengelola media online di bandingkan media cetak. Namun dalam media kepesantrenan tidak banyak pesantren yang mengelola media tersebut melalui online hanya saja masih menggunakan media cetak. Salah satu Pondok Pesantren terbesar yang memiliki website media online adalah Gontornews.com. Perkembangan tersebut mendorong tumbuhnya media konvensional majalah gontor menjadi media online gontornews.com dalam memberikan informasi tentang pondok pesantren dan dunia Islam melalui situs website berita online. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi manajemen redaksi dan kendala melalui media online Gontornews.com dari tahap perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan/penggerakan, dan pengawasan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan studi kasus pada media online Gontornews.com. Penelitan ini dilakukan di kota Jakarta dalam rentang waktu Juni sampai dengan Juli 2022. Teknik pengumpulan data primer dan data sekunder melalui wawancara mendalam dengan narasumber yang terkait implementasi manajemen redaksi media online Gontornews.com dan didukung dokumen, serta referensi dari buku-buku, suratkabar/majalah dan informasi lain di internet. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa implementasi manjemen redaksi Gontornews.com dalam menyajikan suatu berita dilakukan melalui beberapa tahapan mulai dari menyusun rencana, kerjasama anggota tim redaksi, pelaksanaan produksi berita dan melakukan evaluasi dan feedback. Sedangkan untuk kendala di manajemen Redaksi Gontornews.com hampir tidak ada, namun terdapat beberapa kendala dalam proses membuat berita seperti kemampuan bahasa, keterbatasan peliputan di luar kota dan luar negeri, ketidaksinkronan waktu reporter dan deadline untuk menerbitkan berita. Kesimpulan dari penelitan ini bahwa implementasi manajemen redaksi Gontornews.com telah berjalan lebih dinamis dan fleksibel sesuai dengan visi dan misi dan telah menjalankan proses keredaksian sesuai dengan pedoman yang dijalankan oleh Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor. Sedangkan dalam kendalanya sendiri tidak ditemukan namun ada beberapa saja seperti keterbatasan bahasa, narasumber dari luar, dan sistem website akan tetapi kendala tersebut dapat teratasi. Harmony, M.Si Summary : Pesantren is the oldest religious educational institution in Indonesia. Recently, the development of online media has accelerated in a few years. This is due to several things including the ease of managing online media compared to print media. But in the boarding school media there are not many boarding schools that manage the media through online but still use print media. One of the largest boarding schools that have an online media website is Gontornews.com. these developments encourage the growth of conventional media gontor magazine into online media gontornews.com in providing information about Islamic boarding schools and the Islamic world through online news websites. This study aims to determine the implementation of editorial management and constraints through online media Gontornews.com from the stage of planning, organizing, implementing/mobilizing, and supervision. The method used in this study is qualitative descriptive with case studies on online media Gontornews.com. this research was conducted in the city of Jakarta in the period from June to July 2022. Primary and secondary data collection techniques through in-depth interviews with resource persons related to the implementation of online media editorial management Gontornews.com and supported documents, as well as references from books, newspapers/magazines and other information on the internet. The results stated that the implementation manjemen editor Gontornews.com in presenting a news is done through several stages ranging from preparing a plan, cooperation of editorial team members, implementation of news production and evaluation and feedback. As for the constraints on editorial management Gontornews.com almost none, but there are some obstacles in the process of making news such as language skills, limited coverage outside the city and abroad, the asynchronous reporter time and deadlines for publishing news. The conclusion of this study that the implementation of editorial management Gontornews.com has run more dynamic and flexible in accordance with the vision and mission and has run the process of editorship in accordance with the guidelines run by Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor. While the obstacles themselves were not found, but there were only a few such as language limitations, external sources, and the website system, but these obstacles could be overcome.
