Abstract
ABSTRACT Early detection of breast cancer greatly influences the first treatment of breast cancer, therefore it is very important for women to know about early detection of breast cancer. The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between level of knowledge and early detection behavior. This research method uses a cross sectional design. The population of this study were women of childbearing age at the Kemayoran Community Health Center, Central Jakarta and samples were taken using random sampling with a total sample of 97 women of childbearing age. The data collection technique uses a validated questionnaire. Data analysis using sppss. The research results showed that the majority of women of childbearing age had knowledge, 66 respondents (68%). And the number of respondents who had poor knowledge was 31 respondents (32%). Respondents who had good behavior were 67 (69.1%). The conclusion of this research is that the knowledge and behavior of early detection of breast cancer in women of childbearing age at the Kemayoran Community Health Center is in the good category.
