Abstract

Background: For students, the subject is a mandatory thing. Courses are units of lessons studied by students at the university level which are arranged based on graduate learning outcomes (CPL) which are burdened to students containing learning materials, learning systems, learning methods and also grades. The Childbirth and Midwifery Skills II block became the block with the first midwifery science course studied by midwifery students at the Faculty of Medicine and Health, University of Muhammadiyah Jakarta. In this block, many students with final semester exam scores and OSCE exam scores do not reach the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) in accordance with the provisions of the block due to various factors, both internal and external. Objective: Know the Relationship of Internal and External Factors to the Success of the Study of Childbirth Block and Midwifery Skills II in Midwifery Students of PICK UMJ for the Odd Semester Period of2020 -2022. Method: The method used in this study is quantitative which is descriptive analytic with a cross sectional approach. Data were taken using questionnaires. The sampling technique in this study is stratified random sampling. Results: In this study, only 2 out of 3 external factors were found to have a relationship with the success of the study of labor block and midwifery skills II (p < 0.05). These fact-ors are learning systems related to the value of childbirth blocks (p = 0.00) and learning methods related to midwifery skill scores IT (p = 0.00). Conclusion: Learning systems and learning methods have a relationship with the success of .maternity block studies and midwifery skills II.
