Abstract

ABSTRAK Salah satu upaya memberikan asistensi terhadap masalah karyawan di tempat kerja adalah melalui Employee Assistance Program (EAP) yang dinilai sebagai program intervensi proaktif dan reaktif dalam mengidentifikasi serta menyelesaikan masalah pada karyawan yang berdampak buruk terhadap kinerja dan kesejahteraannya. Di Indonesia sendiri, belum banyak perusahaan yang menerapkan Employee Assistance Program selain perusahaan-perusahaan multinasional. Salah satu perusahaan di Indonesia yang menerapkan Employee Assistance Program adalah Kompas Gramedia Jakarta. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan ruang lingkup Employee Assistance Program di Kompas Gramedia Jakarta dalam mengelola stres kerja karyawan; dan mengetahui tantangan dan hambatan pelaksanaan Employee Assistance Program di Kompas Gramedia Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Dan penentuan informan menggunakan purposive sampling dan snowball sampling. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa implementasi layanan Employee Assistance Program di Kompas Gramedia Jakarta telah mengembangkan perencanaan program melalui tiga layanan utama, yaitu medical center, pojok konseling, dan pojok finansial. intervensi yang diberikan oleh pojok konseling untuk menangani masalah mental, yaitu terapi perilaku, CBT, mindfulness, brainspotting, hingga meditasi. Penyebab adanya stres pada karyawan di Kompas Gramedia Jakarta adalah tekanan deadline pekerjaan, kondisi kerja yang tidak pasti, beban kerja tambahan, ambiguitas peran, serta lingkungan kerja yang terlalu fleksibel. Kurangnya kesadaran karyawan terhadap kesehatannya dan kebutuhan layanan yang sudah disediakan serta masalah komunikasi yang belum efektif masih menjadi hambatan pelaksanaan Employee Assistance Program di Kompas Gramedia Jakarta dan tantangan yang perlu dihadapi adalah mencari cara untuk bisa meningkatkan kesadaran karyawan akan layanan yang ada dengan terus memaksimalkan cara yang sudah ada. In Indonesia alone, not many companies have implemented an Employee Assistance Program other than multinational companies. One of the companies in Indonesia implementing the Employee Assistance Program is Kompas Gramedia Jakarta. This study aims to describe the scope of the Employee Assistance Program at Kompas Gramedia Jakarta in managing employee work stress; and knowing the challenges and obstacles to implementing the Employee Assistance Program at Kompas Gramedia Jakarta. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research method. Data collection is done by way of interviews, observation, and documentation. And the determination of informants using purposive sampling and snowball sampling. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the Employee Assistance Program service at Kompas Gramedia Jakarta has developed program planning through three main services, namely the medical center, pojok konseling, and pojok finansial. interventions provided by the pojok konseling to deal with mental problems, namely behavior therapy, CBT, mindfulness, brainspotting, to meditation. The causes of stress on employees at Kompas Gramedia Jakarta are pressure from work deadlines, uncertain working conditions, additional workload, role ambiguity, and an overly flexible work environment. Lack of employee awareness of their health and the need for services that have been provided as well as ineffective communication problems are still obstacles to the implementation of the Employee Assistance Program at Kompas Gramedia Jakarta and the challenge that needs to be faced is to find ways to increase employee awareness of existing services by continuing to maximize the ways that already available.
