Abstract

ABSTRAK XIX + 106 Halaman + 6 Tabel + 4 Gambar + 8 Lampiran Kemiskinan merupakan fenomena yang tidak bisa dihindarkan oleh setiap negara termasuk indonesia, dampak dari kemiskinan sangat beragam salah satunya hak pendidikan pada anak yang kurang mendapatkan perhatian khusus dari keluarga sehingga anak tersebut tidak memiliki kemampuan didalam dirinya yang menyebabkan anak tumbuh dengan keterbatasan dan kekurangan baik dari ilmu pengetahuan maupun keterampilan.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses, hasil serta faktor penghambat dan pendukung terhadap pemberdayaan anak fakir miskin melalui pelatihan keterampilan di Lembaga Kesejahteraan Sosial Anak Yayasan Rumah Sinergi Indonesia. Dengan perumusan masalah (1) Bagaimana proses pemberdayaan anak melalui pengembangan di Lembaga? (2) Apa saja perubahan-perubahan yang terjadi pada anak-anak setelah melakukan pemberdayaan? (3) Apasaja faktor penghambat dan pendukung dalam proses pemberdayaan. Metodologi yang digunakan yaitu metode kualitatif dan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Dengan menggunakan beberapa sumber data yang diperoleh dari hasil observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi, serta data-data yang diperoleh dari catatan, buku-buku dan dokumen tertulis yang berhubungan dengan penelitian ini. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dan pengamatan dilapangan, bahwa pemberdayaan anak fakir miskin melalui pelatihan keterampilan di Lembaga Kesejahteraan Sosial Anak Yayasan Rumah Sinergi Indonesia sangat membantu anak di sekitar Lembaga yang putus sekolah maupun bersekolah untuk mendapatkan kesetaraan pendidikan pada umumnya. Pemberdayaan tersebut merupakan upaya yang dilakukan agar anak tersebut memiliki kemampuan dalam mengembangkan potensi akademik maupun non akademik sehingga mereka dapat melakukan perubahan untuk dirinya, keluarga, dan lingkungan. With the formulation of the problem (1) What is the process of empowering children through development at the Child Social Welfare Institution, the Rumah Sinergi Indonesia foundation? (2) What are the changes that occur in children after empowering them? (3) What are the inhibiting and supporting factors in the empowerment process. The methodology used is qualitative method and descriptive research type. By using several sources of data obtained from observations, interviews and documentation, as well as data obtained from notes, books and written documents related to this research. Based on the results of interviews and observations in the field, the empowerment of poor children through skills training at the Rumah Sinergi Indonesia Foundation is very helpful for children around the institution who drop out of school or attend school to obtain equality in education in general. This empowerment is an effort made so that these children have the ability to develop academic and non-academic potential so that they can make changes for themselves, their families and the environment.
