Abstract

This study aims to figure out the effect of physical activity on the social skills of elementary school students in South Tangerang City. Survey method with the technique of independent variable influence to the dependent variable was used. Samples from this research were 164 2nd grade students of FIP UMJ Labshcool and Madrasah Pembangunan UIN Jakarta. Physical activity has a significant direct effect on social skills with a correlation coefficient of 0.342 and a regression coefficient of 0.569; Thus, the improvement of children's social skills can be well-achieved if there is a strong influence of physical activity Keywords: physical activity, social skills.
