Abstract

Parenting education is a synergistic program implemented by parents and teachers at schools. This program is very important in supporting the learning process of children at home, because parents are the first and foremost educators, while teachers help parents realize the success of their education. The purpose of this study is to examine and analyze the perspective of parents who work but must accompany their children to study at home during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study is based on the Al-Quran as a basis for strengthening the concept of parenting education to realize educational goals. This study uses quantitative methods, with 56 respondents working parents. The results of this study indicate that 77% of parents understand the concept of parenting education. This is indicated by 55% of the implementation of parenting education is good, even 45% gives very good responses. 89% of parenting patterns are implemented in a democratic manner, this is very beneficial for the success of children in learning, as evidenced by 93% of parents accompanying them to study at home. 82% of children's learning concentration is disturbed when studying at home, this can be overcome by parents by making effective communication which is shown 98% well and very well. The facilities prepared by people are special times and special rooms. Parenting education is carried out very well through exemplary, communication, and strengthening worship to Allah SWT.
