Abstract

Background. Iron is a basic miniature component for the body. This substance is needed in hemopoboesis (blood development), especially the unification of hemoglobin (Hb ). The government has implemented many programs for administering Fe 90 tablets during pregnancy, but many pregnant women are reluctant to follow or disobey the government's recommendations for many reasons. The main factors for ensuring the prevention of anemia and increasing hemoglobin levels in pregnant women (Sivanganam and Weta, 2017). Objective. To find out the description and relationship of the factors that influence the Compliance of Third Trimester Pregnant Women in Consuming Fe Tablets at Semper Barat IT Health Center, North Jakarta. Method. This research is a type of descriptive analytic research with a cross sectional approach. The sample used was third trimester pregnant women with 73 respondents and it was conducted at the Semper Barat II Health Center, North Jakarta. This sample was can-ied out by purposive sampling and met the inclusion criteria. Then the data is presented into univariate analysis and bivariate analysis. Results. The results of this study between mother's knowledge and adherence to consume Fe tablets there is no significant relationship obtained p value 0.562. There is a significant relationship between the mother's attitude and adherence to consuming Fe tablets with a p value of 0.001. There is a significant relationship between maternal motivation and adherence to consuming Fe tablets with a p value of 0.008. There is a significant relationship between the role of health workers and adherence to consuming Fe tablets with a p value of 0.000. Conclusion. From the results of the study it can be concluded that I independent variable and the dependent variable have no relationship, while the other 3 independent variables have a significant relationship.
