Abstract
Background. Anemia is still a health problem in the world that must be considered. It is estimated that one third of the world's population is anemic, many cases of anemia are found in various countries, one of which is Indonesia, which has many cases of anemia in adolescents. The cause of anemia is the lack of programs from the government regarding the early introduction of Fe tablets, causing these adolescents to lack understanding about Fe tablets. Aim. This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge, attitudes, sources of information and nutritional status with the incidence of anemia in adolescents. Method. This type of research is quantitative research with data collection methods using stratified random sampling using a cross sectional research design. The sample data collection technique used random sampling of 50 people in which 5 people were randomly taken as a class. This data was collected using the easy touch Hb test tool, riskesdas questionnaire sheets and from researchers, innone weight scales and stature mater height measurements, using univariate and bivariate analysis which were processed using SPSS. Results. 18 people (90%) had good knowledge about anemia, 26 respondents (92.9%) had a good attitude towards anemia, 28 respondents 56% got information from non-print sources and the results obtained were 26 respondents had thin nutrition 52%. The result of the chisquere test is that there is a relationship between the variables of knowledge (p value=0.000). attitude (p value=0.000), sources of information (p value=0.000) and nutritional status (p value=O. OJ 8) with the incidence of anemia in adolescents. Conclusion. There is a relationship between knowledge, attitudes, sources of information, and nutritional status with the incidence of anemia among adolescents at SMPN 3 Cibitung.
