Abstract

According to data from the Indonesian Demographic and Health Survey (IDHS), MMR in Indonesia in 2019 was 305 per 100,000 live births. One of the causes of AKI is Preeclampsia, as for risk factors for Preeclampsia events such as maternal age, parity, history of hypertension, multiple pregnancies and pregnancy spacing. Objective: Know the relationship between the incidence of Preeclampsia at Koja Hospital in 2022. Method: This type of research is using the Cross-Sectional method. This study used secondary data. The samples in this study were 72 pregnant women who experienced Preeclampsia at Koja Hospital for the January-December period of 2022. Analyze data using Chi-Square. Results: Univariate The characteristics of respondents the age of the majority of mothers are 20-35 years (79.2%), Parity shows that the majority of pregnant women are in the Primipara category (51.4%) Multiple pregnancies show that the majority of pregnant women are in the category of not multiple pregnancies (50.0%), History of Hypertension the majority of pregnant women are in the category of there is a history of hypertension (61.%), Pregnancy Spacing of the majority of pregnant women with a pregnancy gap of 2- 5 years (66.7%) and the incidence of Preeclampsia The majority of pregnant women were in the category of not experiencing Preeclampsia (66.8%). Bivariate statistical test (Chi-square) There is a significant relationship between multiple pregnancies and the incidence of Preeclampsia at Koja Hospital for the January- December 2022 period with P Value = 0.000 (P<0.005) and obtained OR value = 35.250 which means that mothers with multiple pregnancies have a 35,250 times chance of experiencing Preeclampsia and, History of hypertension with the incidence of Preeclampsia at Koja Hospital for the January-December 2022 period with P Value = 0.000 (P<0.05) and obtained an OR value = 5.779 which means that mothers who have a history of hypertension have a 5.779 times chance of experiencing Preeclampsia. Conclusion: From this study, it is concluded that there is a relationship between multiple pregnancies and a history of hypertension with the incidence of Preeclampsia at Koja Hospital for the January-December 2022 period.
