Abstract

This paper is a systematic reviewof many findings that highlight the potential of Mobile Assisted Language Learning (MALL) to support EFL listening in Indonesia. Several aspects of MALL 's educational perspectives and contemporary study mappingare also taken into consideration. This article ultimately offers educators valuable implications for designing appropriate methods and decision-makers for introducing a trustworthy and reliable system,to ensure the best language learning options. The review analyzesfour main findings, namely, situated learning, communicative and collaborative learning, inquiry-based learning,and behavioristlearning activity. The study assumesthat the use of MALL is considerably the best option for teaching and student in the meaningful language learning ofthe 21st Century.
