Abstract

Abstract The recent research managed to collect five microbial isolates which can be used on organic waste treatment as fertilizer. However, the implementation of treatment is still cumbersome and impractical. Therefore, the isolates needs a practical carrier to be used on organic waste treatment as fertilizer. The research used Completely Randomized Design (CRD) and Randomized Block Design (RBD). CRD was used for adaptation test of Pseudomonas putida as an additional microbes, viability test of isolate on some kind of medium agar, viability test of isolate after stored in frozen state, application-dose test of pellets as carrier. RBD was for Implementation test to red onion. The result, Pseudomonas putida as an additional microbes can be adapted in the waste water of rice and pellets from rice flour as carrier. The best pellets are made at 35 ° C for 3 – 4 days. Three kinds of consortium isolates in pellet form can treat the odor of waste water of rice and tofu industrial on the process to make fertilizer. The consortium are, Pellet 1 (Gluconacetobacter saccarivorans, Trichosporon asahii, Pichia kudriavzevii, and Burkholderia metallica), Pellet 2 (T. asahii, P. kudriavzevii, B. metallica and P. putida. After 4 months on storage, the pellets still can be used and functionate for the treatment. The dose of pellets recomendation to used in treatment is 5g/L of organic waste water. The implementation of pellets to red onion didn’t give a different result from control. The application test on red onion crops showed the fertilizer product from wastewater fermentated using Pellet 1 can reduced 50% inorganic fertilizer recomended and then save the production costs.
