Abstract

This study aims to determine the Government Public Relations Activities in the Program Socialization at the South Jakarta Fire Service. The method used is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques with in-depth interviews. The results of this study note that Government Public Relations Activities in program socialization are carried out routinely through meetings involving village heads, sub-district heads and the community. As for the coverage and documentation of the activities carried out by the division of the documentation which is recorded in the form of reports assisted by the head of the platoon, the head of the team, and members who served in the field. Besides that, the activities carried out are making report books and advertising through brochures, banners, posters, and online newspaper media. Inhibiting factors in Government Public Relations Activities are the lack of awareness and attention of the public in participating in the socialization on the grounds of having their respective activities. While the supporting factors are the performance of human resources (HR) firefighters who are professional, reliable and trained. Keywords: Activities, Government Public Relations, Socialization
